Greg Harbar and the Gypsies perform “Kalomijka” at KUHT on 1-22-03. Greg’s upcoming Julian Calendar New Year is one of the hot tickets of the season.
Greg’s surprise guests were the dancers. Just try and convince Gypsies that dancing requires light and we only have four cameras. This segment never aired, and later in life, I asked Greg at a bar how he liked the results and he asked the opinion of a lovely Russian woman with him. I got yelled at in Russian and English as she was rather upset that her dancing never made it to the air.
