Susan McDonald ‘Gilgamesh’ at KUHT 4-28-04

Susan McDonald was one of my first classical editing clients Karl Caillouet of Heights Sound Studio asked me to edit together the meticulously performed tracks of the CD “The Dream of Christopher Columbus”.

Here she performs her own composition “Gilgamesh”, which my good friend Brad Sayles had just produced on CD for KUHF. This forum was not easy on classical performers as the inviting dark concerts hall filled with the souls of an audience were replaced by a good percentage of an acre of flat concrete and totally dead walls. The audience would have been replaced by three camera operators dancing around with studio cameras as big as car assembly robots. Susan was gracious as always.
