Douglas Robertson of Citizen Doug Productions demonstrates the connection of a studiologic SL MIXFACE to a Sound Devices 888. This video is a right out of the box example of just how easy, and cheap it is to use this controller with the 8 series. The opposite of an expert demonstration, this is only the second time this brand new interface had ever been used. Considering that other supported third party control surfaces start at two and a half times more expensive, and some require external power, this is likely to be a very popular solution. Surfaces are so nice for a day of line mixing dialog, or swapping out talent on a multilingual ad campaign.
